We came to this location after visiting my Mom and from the time we got into the restaurant, the staff gave us their undivided attention. Everything was spot on. Great food, friendly atmosphere. The place was clean. The two ladies there went the distance to make sure everything went well. 💯% satisfied. We'll definitely come back.

I know this review is critical, but is our experience. Upon arriving at the location, the cook, presumably, was outside smoking. Of course I wondered if would wash his hands before cooking our meal. The staff were very friendly! Even the cook waved at us. The food was reasonably price. We ordered chicken, fish, fries, and green beans. I took a bit of the hush puppy and it was awful. Not sure how to explain the taste. You could not tell the difference between the fish and chicken, as it all tasted the same. The green beans were opened and warmed up, very bland. The water was not good. The best part of the meal was the greasy crispies. It was obvious the restaurant had been there many decades. There was peeling chip on the walls, the booth seats were taped up, and it looked like the restaurant needed to be gutted and totally renovated. We will choose to go somewhere else to satisfy our fish craving. This was not the Captain D’s I remember.

Not sure what is going on with this location but this my 2nd time ordering the grilled lemon pepper white fish meal and it was not tasty.. the fish was bland and over cooked, the rice had a foul odor and taste that I couldn't eat it at all... sad to say. But the fried okra, green beans and bread was good.. I feel like I wasted my $$.... Captain D's used to be so good back in the days or maybe it's certain locations that aren't tasty.. just not sure if I'll go again.. if the grilled fish taste bland I wonder what the fried tastes like 🤔 The nice lil lady at drive thru was sweet and polite (just can't remember her name).

My children and I LOVE Captain Ds. We arrived at the drive thru and the sweetest girl was at the checkout window. I asked her if it was possible i could see the okra because the last time it was breaded VERY lightly & not cooked all the way (still alil slimy). I was hoping that was just a "one off"....thats why I ordered it again. She showed me my okra and asjed me to feel it to see if its fried enough. It was once again VERY lightly breaded. I asked her had the recipe chgd these past months and she said it had. I asked her if it's to late for me to switch. She gave me another option for next time 💛 A man inside (possibly the owner) comes in front of her and "basically" says shes new and doesn't know what shes talking about. He was very abrasive with me and shoved the food into the bag. I have no idea what he was saying to me because he was talking "at" me instead of talking "to" me. He overtalked me with anything i said. At one point i found myself trying to de-escalate him which is crazy. I could tell on the girl face he was admonishing her for NO REASON! What he should instead be doing is LEARNING good customer svc from her. I hope she reads this and hears my apologies if she received admonition because it wasn't deserved. She was delightful and he was VERY unprofessional and hostile imo. Such a shame! I think he said his name was "Portion" on "Potion". I tried to catch what he said as he abruptly closed the window on me. Sir.... Do better! Service

Ordered the spicy fish sandwich. It was fresh and hot but was strips versus a one piece of fish and it’s not spicy. Other than that it was good.
